Yes. SOLpay Link is sent from the SOLmate app using your SOLmate wallet.

In the SOLmate app, click on "send money" and choose SOLpay Link, enter the amount, the recipient's mobile number, and an optional message, then confirm the payment. The recipient will receive the SOLpay Link by SMS. Once created, the link can also be shared again using resend options such as WhatsApp and email.

How does the recipient claim the money?

The recipient receives an SMS with a secure link, opens it in their browser, verifies their identity with an OTP, and chooses how they want to receive the money.

Does the recipient need a SOLmate account?

No. The recipient does not need a SOLmate account to claim the money. They can choose to receive it by EFT, RTC, eWallet, or into a SOLmate wallet.

How can the recipient receive the money?

The recipient can choose to receive the money by EFT, RTC, eWallet, or into a SOLmate wallet.

A SOLpay Link is valid for 30 days from the date it was created.

What if the recipient did not get the SMS?

First check that the correct mobile number was used. If the number is correct, the SOLpay Link can be shared again using resend options such as SMS, WhatsApp or email. If the number was entered incorrectly, a new SOLpay Link must be created.

The link may no longer be valid because it has expired, already been claimed, or the OTP has expired and needs to be requested again.
